Simon Borchardt
ALUN WYN JONES
At 1.98m and 119kg, Jones makes important contributions at the set pieces and with ball in hand. He is a big man, but his athleticism means he is never far away from the action.
He was excellent for Wales in the latter part of their Six Nations campaign, which resulted in them lifting the trophy, and again during the Lions' series win against the Wallabies. In fact, it's the consistency of his performances that is his greatest strength.
Jones has also developed as a leader, and took over the Lions' captaincy from Sam Warburton for the Sydney decider. With 80 Test caps (including six for the Lions), the 28-year-old also has plenty of experience.

SAM WHITELOCK
Whitelock is an unsung hero of the All Blacks and Crusaders, making a huge impact when he is there and being noticeably absent when he’s not.
The 25-year-old has become a strong lineout contester, making the set pieces a challenge for any team that comes up against him. He is also an impressive tackler, finishing in the top three of the most-tackles list for last year's Rugby Championship (averaging 10 per match).
For a man of his height (2.03m), he is incredibly mobile and often finds himself ranging down the wing to create some extra space.
Whitelock became the king of versatility in 2013 and adapted to whatever the situation required of him.
