Rugby 22, developed by French company Eko Software, was released on Thursday to mixed reviews.
Many praised the game for its gameplay, calling it the closest to capturing modern rugby due to the fluid movement of players and more realistic passing.
However, players did find an issue with the defending aspect of the game, saying it involves more luck than skill and it is difficult to rely on the AI.
The lack of a Premiership license is also an issue with the new game, as it the longevity as the league mode only lasts a single season.
