This clip shows referee Angus Gardner was spot on for yellow-carding veteran lock Alun Wyn Jones for a ruck infringement in Wales’ historic win over the Springboks in July.
Jones and spectators alike were flabbergasted after Test rugby’s most-capped player received his marching orders as the angles available to the live broadcasters indicated the Welshman had done nothing wrong, but now Gardner’s decision has been vindicated.
