Wandisile Simelane will start on the wing, while Johan Goosen has returned in a fresh halfback pair as Jake White made seven changes to the Vodacom Bulls team to face Munster on Saturday.
White has rung the changes from the side that went down to Glasgow Warriors in Scotland.
Several of those come in the backline, as Simelane replaces Stedman Gans on the left wing, while Goosen and Embrose Papier form an all-Springbok halfback pair.
Fit-again Harold Vorster resumes a settled midfield combination with veteran outside centre Lionel Mapoe.
In the pack, youngster WJ Steenkamp will make a first start of the season, as does loosehead prop Simphiwe Matanzima, who packs down with tighthead prop Mornay Smith.
Loosehead prop Dylan Smith and tighthead Jacques van Rooyen complete an experienced replacement front row with Bismarck du Plessis.
