Head coach Wayne Pivac has named a debutant at flank for Wales in the first Test against the Springboks in Pretoria on Saturday.
Tommy Reffell will win his first senior Wales cap having been selected at openside flank. The former U18 and U20 captain will become the 1, 178th Welsh men’s international when he takes to the pitch on Saturday.

Dan Lydiate starts at blindside flank, his first international appearance since the match against Ireland in the 2021 Guinness Six Nations. Taulupe Faletau (No 8) completes the back row.
Will Rowlands and Adam Beard are selected to start in the second row for the sixth time together. Veteran lock Alun Wyn Jones will play off the bench.
Dan Biggar will captain Wales in what will be his 101st Test appearance.
In the back three, Liam Williams is fullback, while Louis Rees-Zammit and Josh Adams are on the wings.
The players will wear black armbands on Saturday in honour of Wales international #730 Phil Bennett, who died on 12 June.
