Leo Cullen has been named Vodacom United Rugby Championship Coach of the Season after guiding Leinster to the semi-finals of the competition.
Cullen coached the former champions to victory in the Irish Shield and the top of the overall URC standings at the end of the regular season.
He orchestrated a record-breaking victory over Glasgow Warriors in the quarter-finals, but was outfoxed by the Jake White-coached Vodacom Bulls in a shock defeat for the Irish on Friday night in Dublin.

Cullen, who was voted for by the competition’s 16 head coaches, also led Leinster to the European Champions Cup final this season, with a narrow defeat by La Rochelle in Marseille.
It is the second URC prize won by a Leinster representative during the campaign, with Ross Byrne having been selected at flyhalf in the official Dream Team, and leaves only the Players’ Player of the Season accolade still to be announced.
