Unlucky start for Blitzboks in Toulouse

The Blitzboks suffered their first defeat to Ireland in Friday’s opening Pool D clash of the France Sevens at the Stade Ernest-Wallon.

Tries from Terry Kennedy either side of half time, with Jack Kelly also crossing the whitewash, stunned SA in a 21-12 defeat in Toulouse.

Skipper Siviwe Soyizwapi and Mfundo Ndhlovu hit back for Neil Powell’s men, who will have to regroup against Spain at 6.28pm.
