Chiefs players Brad Weber, Mitchell Graham and Fin Hoeata have all suffered serious injuries ahead of the Super Rugby season.
Weber, who was in fine form last season, has been ruled out for six months after fracturing his femur at the Brisbane 10s this past weekend.
In addition, Graham fractured his tibia and fibula and will also need surgery, while Hoeata suffered ligament damage to his ankle and is set to be sidelined for two to three months.
