Grey College have consolidated their place at the top of the rankings, while Paarl Gym continue their downward spiral.

After defeating Affies 42-31 the past weekend, Grey remain the only unbeaten team this season and therefore remain the best ranked school. Waterkloof, Monument, HTS Middelburg and Menlopark complete the top five.

In stark contrast to Grey, Affies have been struggling so far this season and remain rooted to the foot of rankings, while Paul Roos and Tygerberg who started the year outside the top 20, now occupy 11th and 15th place respectively, after some quality performances in recent weeks.

Paarl Gym, who had lost their top spot to Grey earlier but reamined in the top 10, fell even further behind to 13th on the rankings, after suffering a 16-10 home defeat to Paul Roos.
