An anonymous poll conducted among current New Zealand Vodacom Super Rugby players has revealed the majority believe Beauden Barrett is the best player in the country.

The Hurricanes kept their Super Rugby Aotearoa campaign alive on Sunday with their first victory of the season over the still-winless Chiefs, despite playing with 14 men for most of the second half.

South African-born wing Kobus van Wyk has been selected in the Hurricanes’ starting lineup for Sunday’s clash against the Chiefs in Hamilton.

Wing Kobus van Wyk has been named in the Hurricanes’ match-day squad for their Vodacom Super Rugby Aotearoa clash against the Crusaders on Sunday.
