The Lions have confirmed that flyhalf Jordan Hendrikse has undergone successful ankle surgery and that his rehabilitation is on track.
Hendrikse suffered a fractured ankle against Scarlets on 1 October and will be out of action until 2022.
On Friday, the Lions said in a press release that the young flyhalf underwent successful corrective surgery and is now recuperating.

Also on the mend are Eddie Fouche and lock Pieter Jansen van Vuren, who are both being treated non-surgically and are expected to be back approximately six t0 eight weeks from their injury date.
The Lions travelling squad, who recently did duty in the Vodacom United Rugby Championship are on a break at the moment and will resume training on Tuesday, 2 November 2021.
