Herschel Jantjies has signed a two-year extension with the Stormers, keeping the Springbok scrumhalf at the Cape franchise until at least 2024.
A graduate of the Western Province Rugby youth system, the 2019 World Cup winner first represented WP at U16 level.
He made his first appearance for the Stormers towards the end of the 2018 season, before his Bok debut the following year.
“I am very excited about the direction that this team is going and can see us building something special together here,” the 25-year-old told the Stormers’ official website.
“This is my home and this has always been my team, so I am looking forward to contributing in any way I can going forward.”
? Looking forward to more magic from Herschel Jantjies over the next two years.

Stormers coach John Dobson added: “Herschel has had to work very hard to get where he is today. I have seen him evolve into a world-class player through incredible commitment and passion for this union.
“He is exactly the type of player that we want in our team and we are very excited to see what he can achieve in a Stormers jersey in the years to come.”
