Two-time World Cup-winner Frans Steyn has arrived in Bloemfontein to begin his two-year deal with the Cheetahs.
Steyn’s new contract started on 1 July, and while he has been waiting in France to be able to secure a flight back to South Africa, the Cheetahs confirmed on Thursday that he had arrived in Bloem.
The 33-year-old is featured in the latest SA Rugby magazine, and said he was looking forward to beginning the next chapter of his career.

‘I am trying to get some of the older players to go back there … The Cheetahs are playing against Leinster and Munster, who have a lot of international players and you need quality and experience to win competitions.’
