The New Zealand U19 squad selected by head coach Mark Hammett has been unveiled to embark on a tour of South Africa later this month.
A total of 30 players will travel to South Africa, to play four challenging fixtures against age-group representative teams from the Stormers, Sharks, Lions and Leopards.
Included in the squad is Jordi Viljoen, scrumhalf and son of former Springbok halfback Joggie Viljoen.
Jordi Viljoen attended Palmerston North Boys’ High School and Hastings Boys’ and last year earned his New Zealand Schools colours.
This is the first New Zealand U19 Squad selected since the side that won the 2007 U19 World Championships.

The team will assemble at Lincoln University on Sunday, 11 September for a camp prior to departing for South Africa on Tuesday, 13 September.
