Special new issue: Boks-All Blacks rivalry reignited

The 100th Test between the Springboks and All Blacks serves as the centrepiece in the latest SA Rugby magazine, now on sale, which boasts both new content and a redesign.

Despite the Springboks’ recent defeat by Australia, the historic 100th Test between South Africa and New Zealand is sure to be a very special occasion.

For the team at SA Rugby magazine, it’s also a highly anticipated event that coincides with a new look and feel to this latest issue, which focuses on the rivalry that will finally be reignited when the Boks and All Blacks clash for the first time in two years.

This latest print edition incorporates several new elements of content that we hope you, the readers, thoroughly enjoy – from quizzes to training drills to statistical analysis and much more.

Our design team has also given the magazine a facelift, which speaks to a brighter and bolder approach.

The latest content offerings include a focus on the most memorable past Tests between the Springboks and All Blacks, while we pinpoint the head-to-head battles to look out for.

Make sure you check out the new Coaches Corner segment that provides a breakdown of informative trainings tips and drills, while you can test your Boks-All Blacks knowledge with the ultimate quiz.

We also take a closer look at Cheslin Kolbe’s headline move from Toulouse to Toulon, and chat to young Springbok star Aphelele Fassi, who looks destined for a long and memorable Test career.

In another interesting exercise, we select a hypothetical southern-hemisphere dream team that is sure to stir plenty of debate, as will the feature which suggests rugby needs to start moving with the times by making use of more technology to assist decision-making from officials.

There’s a lot to unpack in this latest issue, but also keep your eyes peeled for a couple of QR codes that will redirect you to other avenues of audience engagement.

Make sure you get your hands our new-look magazine and, as always, stay safe.
