Eddie Jones has been linked with a role as a consultant to the Wallabies after getting sacked, but should the former England coach instead return to the Springboks?
The RFU officially gave Jones the boot on Tuesday, ending the Australian’s seven-year tenure in charge of England.

However, reports have since linked Jones with the Wallabies again and it is thought that there already may have been informal contact.
The 62-year-old coached the Wallabies to a 2003 World Cup final defeat to the Roses, with whom he parted ways with a 73% win record, more than any other England coach. During his reign, the Roses reached the 2019 World Cup final and won three Six Nations titles, including a Grand Slam in 2016.
Jones previously served as a consultant to the Springbok under Jake White in 2007, helping the Springboks win the World Cup for a second time.
Now that he is a free agent, should Jones return to assist the Boks in their World Cup title defence in 2023?
