The Sharks’ quest to strengthen their pack could reportedly see the Durban-based team lure the Du Preez twins, Jean-Luc and Daniel, back from England.
According to Sunday newspaper Rapport, it is being widely speculated that the Sharks will attempt to re-sign the Sale-based Du Preez brothers.
Jean-Luc and Daniel du Preez both began their professional careers in Durban, but left the team for the Manchester-based Sale Sharks in 2019.
The Sharks have previously been linked by England newspapers to the Du Preez’s Sale teammate Lood de Jager. However, while it seems that the Springbok lock will leave Sale, the report states that it will not be for the Sharks.
Meanwhile, the report has also linked the Sharks to promising Lions tighthead prop Carlu Sadie.
