On a day full of drama in schools rugby, KES claimed a narrow victory over rivals Jeppe High, while Paul Roos stunned Paarl Gimnasium with a come-from-behind away win on Saturday.
Paul Roos arguably provided the biggest shock of the weekend when they beat Gim 24-26 on the Jan Kriel Field in Paarl.
The visitors fought back from 24-9 with Jurenzo Julius producing an intercept try at the death to clinch a thrilling victory.

Just watched Jeppe v KES and it was magnificent. Both sides brilliantly drilled. Hard and clean. Wonderfully diverse teams. Great support. As a cynical old man, this gives me hope for SA’s future. Two great schools setting an example. Proud @jeppeboys old boy.
