Samoan flyhalf Tusi Pisi kicked five penalties to help his side to a 15-0 win over a lacklustre Italy on Saturday.
In a game of few highlights it was Pisi that proved the difference in difficult conditions in Apia, as the Samoans bounced back from their 18-18 draw with Tonga last week.
For the Italians the result was a new low, and they have now gone eight matches without a victory.
