Here’s a wrap of all the action involving South African players in England and France, including an incredible try for Cheslin Kolbe, along with a controversial collision between Springbok teammates.

Kolbe scored a superb opportunistic try for Toulon in Saturday’s 43-10 victory over Lyon at Matmut Stadium. The Bok flyer bravely chased a kick for touch and regathered the ball on the bounce before stepping past two defenders. Fellow Bok Eben Etzebeth also starred with a stylish try assist for the visitors.

Premiership
Robert du Preez scored all the points for Sale Sharks in Friday’s 12-18 defeat by Saracens at the AJ Bell Stadium, with Vincent Koch involved in a contentious hit on Bok teammate Faf de Klerk.
Sarries’ Koch shoulder-charged De Klerk with teammate Aled Davies, sending the Sharks No 9 clattering over the touchline and into the turf – and both ‘tacklers’ escaped sanction.
How is this hit on Faf de Klerk not a red card, only Luke Pearce will know. Or does he? #SALvSAR pic.twitter.com/XyLvVJqd20

However, Ruan Ackermann was on the wrong side of a 21-22 result for Gloucester in their clash with Wasps, while Juarno Augustus and David Ribbans celebrated a 39-22 win with Northampton Saints over Bristol Bears.
Experienced halfback Louis Schreuder dotted down in a 45-10 triumph for Newcastle Falcons on the road against Kyle Hatherell’s Worcester Warriors, with Kyle Cooper getting a run off the bench for the visitors.
On Sunday, Harlequins’ Andre Esterhuizen added his name to the try-scorers list in a 41-14 triumph over London Irish, with Benhard Janse van Rensburg doing similar for the hosts, while Quins’ Wilco Louw made an appearance as a second-half substitute.
The reigning Premiership champions crossed the whitewash seven times at Brentford Community Stadium, Bok bruiser Esterhuizen easing past two half-hearted tackles to underline his side’s superiority, before Janse van Rensburg crept over the line five minutes from the end.
