Rassie Erasmus has a release clause in his contract with Munster that could allow him to return to SA Rugby.
On Sunday, Rapport newspaper claimed Erasmus was set to leave the Irish club at the end of the European season to take up his previous position as SA Rugby director of rugby.

While Erasmus has since dismissed the reports as 'speculation', he admitted that he has a release clause in his contract with Munster and the Irish Rugby Football Union. A similar clause allowed Pat Lam to leave Irish club Connacht for Bristol earlier this season.
Erasmus also admitted that he had been in regular contact with his former employers in South Africa.
“I have been talking to them since I have been here,' he said. 'There have been some formal and informal chats.'
