Pablo Matera will captain Argentina for the first time against Ireland in Dublin on Saturday. 

There are five changes from the Pumas’ last outing against the Wallabies in the Rugby Championship.

Santiago Medrano makes just his second Test start, replacing Ramiro Herrera, while Santiago García Botta comes into the front row for the injured Nahuel Tetaz Chaparro.

Guido Petti shifts to blindside flank to allow Matias Alemanno to partner Tomas Lavanini in the second row.

There are two changes to the backline as Tomas Cubelli comes in for Gonzalo Bertranou at scrumhalf and Bautista Delguy replaces Matias Moroni out wide.
