The Bulls have confirmed that Handré Pollard has made a successful return to training and remains on track to be fully fit by the start of next year.
Pollard missed the 2016 season due to knee and shoulder injuries, but is in line to make a return to the playing field on 28 January when the Bulls will face a South African Super Rugby opponent in Zimbabwe in their first match of the year.
The fact that Pollard has now entered his final of rehabilitation will be music to the ears of South African rugby fans, with the 22-year-old's presence having been sorely missed by the Boks this year.
The Bulls are set to kick off their Super Rugby campaign against the Stormers on 25 February.
