Bok giants Eben Etzebeth and Lood de Jager are locked in, skipper Siya Kolisi is an anchor tenant in a settled loose trio with Pieter-Steph du Toit and Jasper Wiese, and Damian Willemse is a shoo-in to call the shots at flyhalf with experienced centres Damian de Allende and Jesse Kriel outside him.

But, the return of fit-again Cheslin Kolbe will have Erasmus and Jacques Nienaber scratching their heads over the back-three lineup, not to mention a final call on the front row and starting scrumhalf, and how to package the bench.
