Paul Roos returned to winning ways following their defeat to Grey PE by thrashing St John's from Zimbabwe 80-7.
The game had to be stopped at the 55-minute mark, because of the heavy scoreline. Lock Morné Taljaard scored two tries and outside centre Edwill van der Merwe ran in a hat-trick, while left winger Reinhard Fortuin slotted 10 conversions. St John's scored a consolation try through hooker Roderick Zwart and converted by replacement flyhalf Tafadzwa Chlweshe.
In other results from the day's play, Paarl Boys' beat St Charles College 35-0, Waterkloof beat Klein Nederburg 45-19 and the visiting Australian school Scots College claimed a 24-12 win over Pretoria Boys' High. The hosts also lost out 29-20 to Hoërskool Nelspruit in the last game of the day under floodlights.
