Vodacom Bulls scrumhalf Rudy Paige will be out of action for at least two weeks.
Paige, who left the field in the 62nd minute of the Bulls' match against the Sharks in Durban, has a grade-one medial ligament tear. He is expected to be replaced at scrumhalf by Piet van Zyl.
Jacques-Louis Potgieter will also not be considered for Saturday’s match against the Stormers in Cape Town due to injury. The flyhalf will return to action on 4 May.
Victor Matfield (knee, 4 May), Pierre Schoeman (knee, 15 July), Bandise Maku (pectoral, 31 July), Carlo Engelbrecht (ankle, 31 May), Werner Kruger (ankle, 11 May), Duncan Matthews (knee, 31 August), Ruan Steenkamp (knee, 31 July) and Ryan Nell (knee, 31 August) remain on the long-term injury list.
