The Springboks will have to get a big bonus-point victory over Argentina to win the Rugby Championship after New Zealand thrashed the Wallabies in Auckland on Saturday.
The All Blacks scored five tries to claim a 40-14 bonus-point victory against the Wallabies at Eden Park, leaving the Springboks with a big task to win the title with an even more emphatic victory against Los Pumas when the teams meet in Durban later in the day.
After their final round win against Australia, New Zealand were five points ahead of the Springboks on the Rugby Championship log, with a points difference of 67.
In order to win the title, the Springboks will not only have to score three tries more than Argentina to get a winning bonus point, but will also have to beat the South Americans by at least 39 points.
