Springbok wing Sbu Nkosi could miss Saturday’s Test against Wales in Cardiff.
This is due to passport and visa issues.
According to Rapport newspaper, Nkosi has a valid passport, but too few blank pages in it to be able to apply for a visa.
As a result, he had to apply for a new passport before he could apply for his Schengen visa.
Nkosi has to get his visa before he can fly, and it is unlikely he will be able to leave South Africa before Monday.
Nkosi had been instructed by SA Rugby in June to get his passport in order, but was reportedly unable to do so because of the Covid-19 pandemic and other issues.
If Nkosi is unavailable for the Test against Wales, Makazole Mapimpi could move to the right wing with Aphelele Fassi starting on the left.
Meanwhile, a dozen overseas-based players who have been playing for their clubs are set to join the Springboks on Sunday.
