Mo’unga up for top Kiwi awards

Flyhalf Richie Mo’unga has been nominated in three categories of New Zealand’s 2018 rugby awards.

Mo’unga has been nominated alongside Brodie Retallick, Codie Taylor and Kendra Cocksedge in the Player of the Year category, while he will be a frontrunner to be named Super Rugby Player of the Year. Solomon Alaimalo and Matt Todd have been nominated alongside him.

The talented flyhalf also featured in the Fan’s Try of the Year category, with all the winners set to be named on 13 December.

Head coaches from New Zealand teams – Allan Bunting (Black Ferns Sevens), Steve Hansen (All Blacks), and Clark Laidlaw (All Blacks Sevens) have been shortlisted for the New Zealand Coach of the Year award.
