Flyhalf Juan Mostert has been included in the Vodacom Bulls 28-man squad that will travel to Parma, Italy, where they will take on Zebre in a Vodacom United Rugby Championship match on Friday.
The squad leave South Africa on Monday and are expected to arrive in Italy on Tuesday, where they will continue their preparations for their first overseas match since last October.
The Bulls will be going into the match without experienced flyhalf Morne Steyn, who will be serving the first of his three-match ban following a red card in the previous fixture against the Sharks.
Mostert (21) made his Currie Cup debut for the Bulls in January and has now been included in the squad, as has the more experienced Chris Smith, who had to leave the field against the Sharks with a concussion.
Rookie wing Canan Moodie (19) has also been included in the squad, having already made his URC debut for the Bulls against the Lions.
