English referee Luke Pearce will take charge of the 100th Test between the All Blacks and Springboks on 25 September in Townsville.
World Rugby on Thursday confirmed the match official appointments for the remaining nine matches of the 2021 Rugby Championship, which will be hosted by Australia.
The Springboks will play the Wallabies twice – on 12 September and 18 September – before finishing their campaign with two fixtures against the All Blacks, the first of which will be their 100th clash.
English referee Pearce has been appointed as the man in charge of that vital match. He will be assisted by South African Jaco Peyper and Australian Angus Gardner, while Damon Murphy (Australia) will be the TMO.
Pearce will also be in charge of the Springboks’ first match against Australia on the Gold Coast. Their remaining fixtures against the Wallabies and All Blacks will both be handled by Englishman Matthew Carley.
