Scrumhalf Ross Cronjé is an injury doubt for the Lions' semi-final against the Highlanders in Johannesburg on Saturday.

Cronjé sustained a bad contusion in their quarter-final win over the Crusaders. He will be given time to recover before a call is made on his availability. 

Flanker Robert Kruger has been ruled out for at least three months after he had surgery on a fractured ankle sustained against the Jaguares a fortnight ago.
