Kwagga shines while Boks flop in Adelaide

SARugbymag.co.za readers had their say and voted Kwagga Smith as the standout Springbok on Saturday after his sensational cameo from the bench in the loss to the Wallabies in Adelaide.

In a poll run after the final whistle, 41% decided that the hard-working loose forward was the best on the park for the green and gold, as the Springboks were decisively beaten by the Wallabies to suffer back-to-back defeats in the Rugby Championship.

Smith came off the bench at half time and scored a brace of tries in the second half to add some respectability to the scoreline. He also made 57 metres – the second most of any Springbok – two passes, beat one defender and made one linebreak.
