Loosehead prop Steven Kitshoff will be available for Western Province's Currie Cup match against Griquas this Saturday.
With the Bok squad members failing to make World Cup selection now set to filter back into the domestic competition, Province will be boosted by the return of Kitshoff, while Barbarians representative Nic Groom is available again. Utility forward Jurie van Vuuren and lock Chris van Zyl have also recovered from a shoulder and knee injury respectively, and will be available for selection.
However, WP will be without impressive flanker Sikhumbuzo Notshe, who has a knee injury, while prop Oli Kebble is also still unavailable due to a hamstring strain.
Coach John Dobson said they were looking forward to being able to call on the services of Kitshoff again.
'It would’ve been a tough one for Kitsie not selecting him after the disappointment of not making the World Cup squad. Steven is a proven performer and he’s very hungry to play again.'
