EP Kings captain Luke Watson has failed to recover from concussion and is unlikely to return to action until 2015.
Watson has been struggling with concussion since round three of the Currie Cup competition. He was expected to return this weekend, but it's now emerged that he will go for further MRI scans and is unlikely to play any further role in this year's campaign.
In other news, the Kings will be without the services of hooker Edgar Marutlulle this weekend, following a shoulder injury sustained during the game against the Blue Bulls last week.
David Bulbring will miss the clash against the Cheetahs due to an injured ankle. The lock will go for further tests this week, and it's feared that he may be sidelined for as long as a month.
