Robbie Henshaw has been declared fit and available for Ireland’s Six Nations clash with England at Twickenham.
Henshaw suffered a blow to the head and was taken off in the second half of Ireland’s win over Italy last Sunday, but he has since returned to full training.
He now faces a tussle with Bundee Aki and Garry Ringrose for a starting spot in midfield for next Saturday’s trip to London.
“Robbie Henshaw is fine, he has no problems,” forward coach Paul O’Connell said on Friday. “He’s passed his return-to-play protocols, so he’s had no problems.”
Ireland suffered a blow to their Six Nations title hopes on Thursday as prop Andrew Porter was ruled out of their final two matches due to an ankle injury.
