Andries Coetzee and Jacques van Rooyen are reportedly sought-after recruits by Gloucester and Bath respectively.

According to Netwerk24, Gloucester have entered the race to sign Coetzee. The fullback has previously been linked with moves to the Sale Sharks and French club Toulon.

If Coetzee signs for Gloucester, he will link up with ex-Lions coach Johan Ackermann and former teammates Ruan Ackermann, Jaco Kriel, Franco Mostert and Ruan Dreyer.

Meanwhile, James Adams, Van Rooyen’s agent, has confirmed that Bath are interested in securing the loosehead prop’s services ahead of the 2018-19 season.

Further reports suggest Elton Jantjies, Cyle Brink and Lionel Mapoe – who are all out of contract at the end of the season – are also heading abroad, but nothing has been confirmed yet.
