Psychologist Henning Gericke will begin his stint as a consultant to the Stormers on Tuesday.

The Stormers currently sit in last place on the Vodacom Super Rugby log, having lost six of their last seven matches. The Western Province Rugby Union has already appointed a new director of rugby, Gert Smal, and it's now been confirmed that Gericke will also join the management team as a consultant.

Gericke was involved with Springboks as a mental coach when the South Africans won the 2007 World Cup.
