France have suffered a big injury blow ahead of the Test against the Springboks on Saturday, with former Junior Bok lock Paul Willemse set to miss the clash.
On Monday, France confirmed a wider squad of players for Saturday’s Test match in Marseille.
A total of 15 extra players have been added to the squad, eight of those still to make their Test debuts for France.
Paul Willemse will miss the game after picking up a thigh injury that ruled him out of last week’s thrilling victory over the Wallabies.
The 29-year-old began his professional career in South Africa and helped the Junior Springboks win the U20 World Championship in 2012.
He was an integral part of France’s Six Nations Grand Slam triumph this year and the match-up between himself and the Springbok second row was a keenly anticipated feature of this weekend’s match.
