SARugbymag.co.za readers are overwhelmingly impressed by the efforts of the world champion Springboks in the 2022 Test season.
In a poll taken after the Boks brought the curtain down on the calendar year with a first win over England at Twickenham since 2014, a combined 83% felt that Jacques Nienaber’s troops ticked the necessary boxes.

Only 10% of readers believed the world champs had a disappointing 2022, in which they finished with eight wins in 13 Tests for a win percentage of 62%.
Having surrendered their first home loss against Wales in a 2-1 series victory, the Boks finished second overall in the Rugby Championship and then, on the November tour, lost to top-ranked Ireland and France before thrashing Italy and beating England.
