SARugbymag.co.za readers are largely unimpressed by the officiating of match referee Damon Murphy during the Springbok’s 38-21 victory over the Pumas in Durban.
In a poll taken after the final whistle, nearly 53% of readers felt that the Australian had a poor game with the whistle while a further 34% considered his performance to be below par.
Nearly 9% were satisfied while just over 3% thought that Murphy had done a good job.

Less than 2% of readers believed that the Australian had had an excellent performance.
Argentina coach Michael Cheika agreed with the majority of readers, slamming Murphy’s performance after his team conceded 22 penalties and four players were yellow-carded in the loss against South Africa,
