England kept their Six Nations title hopes alive with a 57-14 bonus-point win against Italy at Twickenham on Saturday.

The five log points take England to within a point of Wales, who are at the top of the log. The Welsh will host Ireland next weekend, with England taking on Scotland at Twickenham.

Ireland, who play France in Dublin on Sunday, are six log points behind England.

The hosts led 31-7 at the break through tries from hooker Jamie George, wing Jonny May, centre Manu Tuilagi and flank Brad Shields, while Italy crossed through flyhalf Tommaso Allan.

Second-half tries from Tuilagi, lock George Kruis, replacement scrumhalf Dan Robson and Shields took England past the 50-point mark, with Italy crossing through centre Luca Morisi.
