A rising DHL Stormers star has reportedly caught the eye of England coach Eddie Jones.
The 20-year-old Sacha Mngomezulu is rumoured to be on Jones’ radar, with one report claiming the England coach is “planning a swoop” for the talented playmaker, who qualifies to play for the Roses through his father, radio personality Nick Feinberg.
He scored 22 points in his first start for the Stormers in their Vodacom United Rugby Championship win over Zebre, having made his debut in last season’s playoffs.
In an interview with News24 earlier this year, the Bishops prodigy revealed that English clubs approached him after school, which could have for the England U20s, but Mngomezulu looks to be on the fast track to Test honours in the green and gold.

“I’ve got a British passport … I had the opportunity to go abroad straight after school, from several clubs,” he said.
“That would have meant me going into the England U20 set-up, which is what I didn’t want and I think something like a British passport can be a threat to the rugby industry at the moment.
“We know there is more money overseas, but I’m fully focused on South Africa.
“Playing for the Junior Springboks was that much more special because, when I said no to the overseas interest, one of my primary reasons was because I wanted to play for the Junior Boks.”
