SARugbymag readers had their say, with almost three quarters calling for the Springboks to snap up Eddie Jones as part of the management team for the 2023 Rugby World Cup.
72% of the vote went in favour of the former Bok consultant again linking up with the world champs – Jones famously served as a consultant to South Africa at the 2007 World Cup – which makes it clear most fans believe the 62-year-old coach still has plenty to offer on the international scene, even though the idea was recently laughed off by director of rugby Rassie Erasmus.

It has also been reported that Jones is set to be approached by the Wallabies to help coach Dave Rennie at France 2023.
The Australian parted ways with the Roses with a 73% win record, the highest success rate of any of his predecessors. During his tenure, he led England to the 2019 World Cup final against the Springboks and also claimed three Six Nations titles, including a Grand Slam in 2016.

Jones previously served as a consultant to the Springboks under Jake White in 2007, helping the Springboks win the World Cup for a second time.
