De Jongh back to skipper WP

Fit-again Juan de Jongh will start at inside centre and resume the captaincy for Western Province when they take on the Golden Lions in Johannesburg on Friday.

De Jongh has recovered from a serious knee injury and will take over at 12 from Huw Jones, while Nizaam Carr hands back the leadership reins.

In other changes to the WP lineup from last weekend, Cheslin Kolbe, Nic Groom, Chris Cloete, Jean Kleyn and Steven Kitshoff all return to the starting XV.

However, Kolbe has been bracketed with Dillyn Leyds, with Kobus van Wyk on standby on the right wing should Leyds move to fullback or not start at all. Coach John Dobson will make a call on his back three before kick-off on Friday.
