Connacht’s clash with Munster in Galway on Saturday sees two of the Vodacom United Rugby Championship’s biggest-name centres go head-to-head, with Bundee Aki and Damian de Allende both set to feature from the start.
Aki makes his first URC outing since Connacht’s 20-18 defeat at Thomond Park in October – a match De Allende was not involved in.
South Africa international De Allende, meanwhile, made his first Munster start of the season in their Heineken Champions Cup victory over Wasps and keeps his place having also started the win over Castres last time out.
Aki and De Allende wore opposing 12 jerseys during the third British and Irish Lions Test earlier this year, which the Springboks won 19-16 to clinch the series.
