Springbok centre Damian de Allende is reportedly set to leave Munster to take up a contract with a Japanese club at the end of the season.
According to Rapport, De Allende has decided to return to Japan, where he played in 2019 and the early parts of 2020, by signing with Saitama Wild Knights, formerly the Panasonic Wild Knights, coached by New Zealander Robbie Deans.
De Allende, who joined Munster in 2020, will see his contract with the Irish club expire in June.
The 30-year-old Springbok also played in Japan with the Kintetsu Liners between 2015 and 2017, on a dual contract during his Stormers career.
It has already been confirmed that Munster head coach Johann van Graan will be leaving the club to join Bath.
However, Munster did confirm last week that Springbok lock RG Snyman has signed a contract extension until 2024.
