Coach Scott Robertson has made five personnel and three positional changes to the team that lost 31-22 to the Hurricanes in Wellington last weekend.
All Blacks trio Joe Moody, Codie Taylor and Owen Franks are back in the front row, while Sam Whitelock returns to the second row to captain the team.
Ryan Crotty is back at inside centre, with David Havili moving to fullback and Israel Dagg to the right wing.
