There is no serious damage to Quade Cooper's neck following a tackle that saw him carried off the field at Ballymore.
The injury occurred in the last minute of the Reds' warm-up match against the Rebels on Friday, which they lost 18-13.
The flyhalf was sent to hospital for precautionary scans and kept overnight. He had X-rays, which showed no sign of any fractures.
Cooper underwent an MRI scan on Saturday morning and preliminary results indicated there is no serious damage. Reds’ medical staff expect to know the full results of the scan on Monday morning.
While a little stiff and sore from the collision, Cooper is out of hospital and mobile.
