Quade Cooper is set to sign a two-year deal with French and European champions Toulon.

According to French sports newspaper L'Equipe, the Reds and Wallabies flyhalf had breakfast with Toulon president Mourad Boudjellal on Monday morning.

Boudjellal has promised to recruit 'the fantastic four' – Cooper, All Blacks centre Ma'a Nonu, Bok No 8 Duane Vermeulen and Ireland lock Paul O'Connell.

Cooper's Toulon contract has not been finalised yet but is likely to happen soon.
